Linda Trelease
- Percussionist
Linda began playing piano at the age
of seven. She joined Carharrack & St. Day Silver Band
at the age of 35 to play turned percussion. The reason Linda
played turned percussion is because Carharrack & St. Day
Silver Band needed a glock player for a contest. Linda was
persuaded to join in, and has never been allowed to leave.
Linda has not played for any other band.
Lindas hobbies are spending time with her two grand
children, craft work including knitting crochet, making toys,
switch tapestry. She also gardening, reading, eating out,
and researching her family tree.
Linda was the first female band member of Carharrack &
St. Day Silver Band to play bass drum on a march. In 1997
Linda wrote the Carharrack & St. Day Silver Band anniversary
book. Linda is the secretary, uniform officer for Carharrack
& St. Day Silver Band. She is married to the Musical Director.
